Helen Nel Imports sole suppliers of Vuarnet Sunglasses in South Africa

1983. After meeting some American surfers on a beach in Durban and asking them about their extremely different sunglasses I discovered VUARNET. When I put the glasses on, in those brightest of conditions, I realised that what I had been wearing up until then you couldn’t really call sunglasses. My eyes relaxed instantly, the clarity was exceptional and the frames were comfortable. I fell in love with VUARNET! I went to Paris and secured the agency for Southern Africa and my enthusiasm for the product has never waned. There is nothing better for your eyes than VUARNET!...of this I have no doubt.

For fourteen years I owned and operated my own Sunglass Boutiques and I was able to see how VUARNET compared to all the brands that were to hit the world in the 1990’s. Needless to say none of them compared in quality, protection and durability.
